Initial Assessment
This initial meeting which last about an hour gives us both an opportunity to decide if we are able to work together. You may also use this time to find out more about me; what is involved in working ethically, the counselling process will be explained briefly and the theoretical approaches that I ultilise. Also you will be asked to share some information about the problem and what you hope to gain, before any formal counselling takes place. There is no pressure to give your decision at this time. When you make the decision to enter into a therapeutic relationship, we confirm the contract including the fee and the period of time for us to work together.
Fees
Counselling
- Self referred Clients: 50.00 per session
- Agency referred Clients: £60.00 (via 3rd party – by invoice)
- Self referred Couples: £60.00 per session
- Agency referred Couples: £70.00 (via 3rd party - by invoice)
- Telephone Counselling: £40.00 per session
- Go & Succeed On line & Telephone only: £40.00 per month (3, 6, or 12 months)
Workshops, seminars and training sessions:
- £250.00 up to 2 ½ hours - short day
- £350.00 for half day
- £250.00 up to 2 ½ hours - short evening
- £450.00 full evening
- £700.00 for full day
Supervision & Mentoring
- 50.00 per hour
Consultancy work
- by negotiation
Please note that therapy sessions are for 50 to 60 minutes.
Cancellation Procedure
Each client's session is prepared solely with them in mind. Therefore, if for any reason you are not able to attend the session for your regular appointment please contact me to cancel as soon as possible. A cancellation fee of 50% of the fee will be incurred for cancellations giving less than 48 hours notice. If you wish to discuss this further please contact me.
After four sessions the contract is reviewed; at this stage an additional referral or adjustments can be made. Alternatively, we negotiate to end or agree to continue with the process, whichever is most appropriate.
